
Clinical Coordinator for Multidisciplinary Cancer Care

Monash Health is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of MDT Pathology Assistant in Melbourne.
This position plays a critical role in facilitating a clinically-appropriate and timely pathway for cancer patients, including retrieving histopathology reports and slides for multidisciplinary team meetings. The post-holder will be responsible for coordinating receipt, registration, tracking, and return of external slides for clinical meetings, as well as returning pathology blocks and slides to file upon completion of testing and review.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with excellent customer service skills and experience working with data entry software such as iPM and Microsoft Office. Additionally, they should have a strong understanding of medical terminology and pathology LIS systems.
