
Clinical Cancer Specialist Nurse

This is a high-level clinical nursing position that requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams within the cancer care community. The role involves providing patient-centered care, information, and support for individuals affected by cancer.
Job DescriptionThe Cancer Care Nurse will be responsible for facilitating communication across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring seamless care delivery to patients. This role requires expert knowledge of cancer care pathways, health assessment, treatment options, referrals, and ongoing facilitation of clinical and supportive cancer care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to individuals with cancer
- Foster strong relationships with multidisciplinary team members
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of care plans
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Post-graduate qualifications in Cancer Nursing - Oncology and/or Palliative Care
- Minimum of 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience as a registered nurse with at least 3 years recent full-time equivalent experience in Oncology, Palliative Care or Cancer Stream specific Nursing
