Civil Road Infrastructure Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Road Infrastructure Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team based in Toowoomba. This role is responsible for inspecting roadworks projects throughout the region, ensuring compliance with Transport and Main Roads' (DTMR) quality specifications and standards.
Responsibilities:- Utilize comprehensive knowledge of TMR policies, standards, and specifications to read, understand, and interpret technical documents and standards;
- Prepare written reports including daily diaries, submissions, and test results;
- Communicate effectively with contractors, contract administrators, senior engineers, or principals' representatives to inform them of progress and quality of works;
- Provide effective administration, surveillance, and recording of documentation generated during construction, including photos;
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of 5-10 years' extensive practical experience as a labourer, foreman, and/or supervisor in road construction and at least 1-2 years as an Asphalt or Civil Inspector working for preferably DTMR or any Australian Road Authority;
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Windows operating system, MS Word, MS Excel, file management, smartphone, camera, and email;
- A valid driver's licence and access to own transport to/from home to the Toowoomba office and out to site;
- Precise attention to detail and excellent analytical skills;
The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000-$110,000 depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
