About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Site Engineer to join our team at Civil Services GROUP, specializing in
projects in the Brisbane and greater QLD region. This is a challenging opportunity for experienced engineers to take on site construction works, contributing to the delivery of major infrastructure projects.



Key Responsibilities


  • Manage infrastructure projects effectively, adhering to designated time, cost, and quality objectives.
  • Monitor and report progress, anticipating potential problems and implementing corrective actions to maintain project objectives.
  • Maintain project quality standards through consultation with clients and monitoring of project inputs.
  • Assist with project budgets, cash flows, and funding arrangements.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment, free from discrimination and harassment.


Requirements


  • At least 5 years of prior experience in Civil Roads Infrastructure construction with any Australian State Government Road Authority, preferably the Department of Transport and Main Roads in Queensland.
  • Knowledge of AS2124 General Conditions of Contract and DTMR policies, standards, specifications, and procedures.


Preferred Skills


  • Experience in the delivery of civil engineering projects, including road and bridge construction.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of road and bridge design, construction, maintenance, and materials.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to establish good working relationships with customers and stakeholders.
