About the Role

">This Executive Level 1 (EL1) Assistant Director position offers a unique opportunity to lead a small team in driving the implementation and growth of the Australian Comprehensive Cancer Network (ACCN).

Key Responsibilities

">In this role, you will:Lead and manage a small team to deliver on strategic initiatives, including growing the ACCN and ensuring its effective coordination.Oversee the ACCN portal, ensuring it remains a key resource for stakeholders involved in cancer care and research.Handle internal coordination of resources, including project timelines, reporting, and risk management.Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective execution of the network's objectives.Mentor and support team members, fostering a high-performance culture that drives results.

Salary

">We offer an estimated salary range of $180,000 - $220,000 AUD per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This package includes a base salary and benefits aligned with industry standards.

Location

">The ideal candidate will be based in Sydney or Canberra, with flexibility to work from home when required. While location is not strictly tied to the base title, Flexhive considers remote work arrangements. ">To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate:Significant leadership experience, including managing a team and driving strategic initiatives to successful outcomes.A strong understanding of the health system.Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence decisions and build long-term relationships.Strong project management and risk management experience with a track record of delivering complex projects within set timeframes.A collaborative, results-focused approach, with a commitment to fostering team development and continuous improvement.
