Job Description:Senior Hospital Claims Assessor / 2IC Team Leader - Hospital ClaimsA seasoned Hospital Claims Assessor is required to assist the Team Leader in driving excellence, meeting performance targets, and ensuring compliance with service standards.
This pivotal role plays a vital part in shaping our high-performing Hospital Team, focusing on process improvement initiatives that align with business plan and strategy.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and excellent customer service abilities, with a proven track record of leading teams to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in daily team management by planning, organising, monitoring and controlling allocated work activities
- Forecast and resource plan for incoming work items to ensure appropriate staff availability
- Provide technical expertise and source resources to improve overall team performance
- Deliver high-quality customer service and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Hospital Claims Assessor
- Minimum 1 year supervisory or leadership experience
- Certificate IV in Business, Management or Equivalent
- Claims/Membership processing experience within the private health insurance industry (desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 6 weeks annual leave
