As a Food Service Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering, serving, and collecting all patient food requirements and meal trays with accuracy and efficiency
- Assisting in daily food preparation, meal assembly, and presentation that meets hospital and industry standards
- Cleaning and maintaining utensils, equipment, and kitchen facilities to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (working towards or willing to attain)
- Prior experience in healthcare food services, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, providing excellent support and service to patients and colleagues alike
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early morning, late evening, and weekend rotations
