Cinema Team Lead Position

This role covers both Darwin locations at BCC Cinemas Casuarina and Event Cinemas Palmerston.

  • Requires competence in Levels 1 and 2.
  • Provides supervision and assists with training for levels 1 and 2 within a designated area.
  • Supervises 4 or more level 1 and 2 employees.
  • Acts as a team leader responsible for coordinating, organizing, and allocating work, materials, and equipment efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have leadership qualities and be able to deliver exceptional service while supporting the operation of the entertainment complex.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Consistently deliver exceptional service, handle feedback promptly, and ensure a positive experience.
  • Supervision & Training: Supervise and support Level 1 and 2 staff, providing clear direction and coaching.
  • Task Allocation: Efficiently assign tasks to team members to ensure timely completion.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow fire, emergency, and safety protocols diligently.
  • Cash Handling & Administration: Support cash procedures, accuracy, and financial protocols.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 months experience at Level 2
  • Basic Math and English proficiency
  • Competence across FOH departments and cash handling
  • Leadership qualities
