Central Australian Aboriginal Congress (Congress) is committed to providing comprehensive and holistic care to young people in detention. We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team at the Alice Springs Youth Detention Centre.
This is an exciting opportunity for a caring and committed doctor to positively impact the lives of young people. As part of our team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide culturally safe GP services within a comprehensive primary health care framework.
The position is a part-time role (0.5 FTE), and the successful candidate will become part of the GP community within Congress as well as part of the team at the centre. If you meet the criteria listed in the job description and you are passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of young people, we encourage you to apply.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide culturally safe GP services to young people in detention
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement holistic care plans
