Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation is a leading provider of health and wellbeing services to the Indigenous community. We are seeking an experienced Pyschologist or Clinical Psychologist to join our team.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessment and therapeutic services to clients presenting with a range of mental health issues. This may include working with individuals, families, and groups to address concerns related to domestic violence, alcohol and substance misuse, and trauma.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans in consultation with clients and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support client recovery and well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds to deliver integrated care and support services.
- Participate in professional development activities to maintain expertise and contribute to the growth of the SEWB Service.
We are committed to delivering culturally sensitive and responsive care that respects the unique needs and experiences of our clients. Our team embeds three streams of care - medical, therapeutic, and cultural and social support - with intensive case management as required.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary package, including:
- Base Salary: $109,629 - $132,658 per annum (commensurate with experience)
- Total Effective Package: $133,060 - $160,655 per annum* (including district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, and estimated tax saving from salary packaging options)
In addition, we offer a full-time, continuous contract with opportunities for career growth and professional development.
