Lecturer in Medical Education

The Faculty of Health prioritizes innovation and excellence in teaching, learning, creativity, social development, and research. We collaborate closely with industry partners and government bodies to translate discoveries into impactful outcomes.

This role will specifically involve working within the School of Medicine, teaching within the Doctor of Medicine program and making broader contributions through scholarship in their area of expertise.

The appointee will promote the School and establish and maintain connections with the academic, industry, and professional communities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching across foundational years of the degree and various modes.
  • Contribute to unit and course reviews and implement enhancements.
  • Integrate new pedagogical research across all aspects of education.
  • Assist in integrating new research and assessing programs.

To be successful, you'll have:

  • PhD in a relevant field or other relevant qualifications in health professional disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively to UG or PG teaching programs in medical education.
  • Experience in contributing to curriculum development and educational resources that reflect an understanding of clinical medicine and emerging practices in medical education.
