Medical Education Specialist

We are seeking a Medical Education Specialist to join our faculty. As a specialist in medical education, you will play a key role in teaching and mentoring students within the Doctor of Medicine program.
Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the development of curricula and educational resources that reflect an understanding of clinical medicine and emerging practices in medical education.
To excel in this position, you will require a strong passion for teaching and learning, with a background in medical education. You should be able to contribute effectively to undergraduate or postgraduate teaching programs in medical education, influencing, motivating, and inspiring students to learn.
The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in a relevant discipline and/or other relevant qualifications in a health professional discipline. Experience in contributing to the development of curricula and educational resources is highly desirable.
- Demonstrate excellence in scholarly learning and teaching across the foundational years of the degree.
- Contribute to the review of units and courses and implement refinements to enhance the quality of education.
- Assist in integrating new pedagogical research across all aspects of education, ensuring our programs remain innovative and effective.
