About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Service Designer / Coordinator to join our team in Inner West Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end water service design and coordination, from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as Water Servicing Coordinator to facilitate Section 73 and Building Plan approval applications and process with Sydney Water;
  • Develop detailed water service designs, including hydraulic calculations and pipe sizing;
  • Prepare accurate and timely documentation, including as-built drawings and reports;
  • Assist on projects from early quoting stages through to commencement and completion;
  • Undertake field work and site inspections for minor and major works projects;
  • Liaise with Sydney Water, developers, architects, engineers, and constructors to facilitate Sydney Water approval and commencement/completion of projects;
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Must have previous experience as a WSC with Sydney Water;
  • Good understanding of Sydney Water's processes and policies;
  • Understanding of relevant software (AutoCAD, GIS, and MS packages - Excel, Word), along with excellent drafting skills and strong attention to detail;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Driver's licence required (to assist with field work and site inspections);
