This opportunity allows you to apply and learn a diverse range of skills to build a successful career in the Water and Wastewater Industry.

The role requires intrastate travel on the Fleurieu Peninsula as an essential aspect of the role to support other teams. Some out-of-hours work and participating in an on-call roster will be required.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Weekly plant inspections and data gathering/input
  • Routine plant maintenance (repair/service/calibration of plant equipment)
  • Responding to plant/equipment failures
  • Ordering and restocking chemicals and plant consumables
  • Monitoring plant performance and optimizing water treatment processes within set parameters/guidelines
  • Conducting daily operations in accordance with documented quality assured system procedures
  • Inputting into development/improvement of quality system procedures
  • Collaborating effectively to ensure team goals are achieved

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work under limited direction
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • High attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • White Card
  • Current driver's license
  • Experience interacting with computer-based SCADA systems (desirable)

Estimated Salary: AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum
