About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Industrial Design 3D Modeler to join our team at Koala. As a key member of our creative department, you will play a crucial role in leading the development of realistic 3D renders for furniture industrial design and high-impact film assets.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Create highly detailed and accurate 3D models of furniture designs, focusing on precision and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure that each model meets specifications and design requirements.
  • Develop a library of high-quality materials and textures to enhance the realism of the renders.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling visual assets for promotional materials and marketing campaigns.
  • Gather information from various sources, such as sketches, drawings, photographs, and video, to create accurate and detailed models.
  • Maintain a library of furniture models built in collaboration with Cylindo.
  • Manage the day-to-day project management and workflow of 3D Assets for Koala, working with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in 3D rendering and industrial design.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a 3D artist specialising in furniture industrial design, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
  • An expert in 3D modeling able to accurately replicate furniture to provided specifications.
  • Familiarity with Chaos platform and web-based AR platforms.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
