About the Role:

A Wahlburgers Kitchen Manager is a seasoned professional dedicated to delivering exceptional culinary experiences, fostering a winning culture, and driving business growth in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Direct Daily Kitchen Operations: Oversee all aspects of kitchen management, ensuring seamless execution of menu items, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Develop and Coach Team Members: Hire, train, and develop new staff members, while coaching and counseling existing team members to achieve whole-team success.
  • Drive Business Growth: Achieve or exceed budgeted cost centers through effective planning, scheduling, and execution, maintaining high standards for consistency in recipe and menu item execution.
  • Maintain a Safe and Healthy Environment: Uphold restaurant safety, sanitation, and security standards, ensuring a safe and harassment-free environment for all team members and managers.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure building, equipment, furniture, and fixtures are in good repair, clean, and maintained on a regular basis.
Critical Skills and Certifications:
  • Culinary Leadership: Minimum 5 years' experience in managing kitchens in a high-volume atmosphere.
  • Leadership and Motivation: Excellent leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire cooperation and teamwork through self-confidence, attitude, and enthusiasm.
  • Culinary Expertise: Extensive knowledge of culinary leadership, kitchen operations, and meticulous culinary skills.
  • Operations and Maintenance: Knowledge of operations and maintenance of commercial food preparation equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Ability to manage inventory and allocate responsibilities and resources.
  • Organizational Skills: Organized and systematic approach to work, with the ability to prioritize efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to collaborate with Chef Paul on regional and seasonal specials.
