Located on the 77th floor of the Gold Coast\u2019s Q1 building, SkyPoint Bistro+Bar serves delightful breakfasts and all-day caf\u00e9-style dining, while our events team delivers exceptional experiences for plated dining, cocktail, and canap\u00e9 events.

As a qualified chef, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing diverse and creative menu options in a high-volume setting.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to deliver outstanding experiences.
  • Maintain a high standard of food safety and hygiene in line with HACCP standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong previous background across functions, a la carte service, and/or caf\u00e9 style service.
  • Fully conversant with all aspects of high-volume food preparation and presentation.
  • Possess a Cert III in Commercial Cookery.
  • Experience and ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable and a self-motivated team player with an eye for detail and exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible with availability including ability to work a range of shifts including weekends, mornings, and evenings.
  • Good physical dexterity with the ability to perform physically demanding work.
  • Good working knowledge and practical application of HACCP standards.
