We are seeking a highly skilled Event Coordinator and Placemaking Specialist to join our dynamic team at the City of PAE. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about creating memorable experiences and driving community engagement through events and placemaking initiatives.

About the Role
  • Lead and deliver event projects and initiatives that foster community spirit, attract visitors, and stimulate economic growth
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to develop creative solutions and achieve strategic outcomes
  • Develop and implement innovative event concepts, leveraging trends and best practices in the industry

What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in senior event or activation roles, preferably in local government or a similar setting
  • Innovative thinking, courage to try new ideas, and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • A deep understanding of the changing landscape of festivals and events, including participation, funding arrangements, and community engagement strategies
