This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Relief Officer. You will work a combination of day and night shifts based on operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular audits of onsite personnel to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Respond to complaints and escalate as necessary to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Roster staff at short notice using a computer-based system to meet operational needs.
  • Review incident reports compiled by staff and take corrective action where required.
  • Provide comprehensive Security Site Inductions in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain adherence to all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) obligations.
  • Submit detailed end-of-shift reports to facilitate effective performance monitoring.
  • Stay up-to-date with client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform routine Security Officer duties across multiple sites, adhering to site-specific protocols.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate ability to multitask and work independently, prioritizing tasks to achieve objectives.
  • Be a self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, possessing supervisory experience.
  • Possess a current Queensland Security Licence.
  • Hold a current Queensland Driver's Licence.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of Incident Reporting systems and processes.
  • Show proficiency in trouble shooting and problem solving, resolving issues efficiently.
  • Exhibit good work ethics, consistently delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience in rostering staff and capability to undertake physical patrol and guarding duties, including prolonged standing and driving long distances.
