Job Title

Security Relief Officer

">Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular audits of onsite security personnel and take corrective action where necessary.
  • Respond to complaints and escalate as required.
  • Roster staff at short notice using a computer-based rostering system.
  • Investigate incident reports compiled by staff members.
  • Conduct security site inductions in accordance with client requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all WHS obligations.
  • Provide detailed end-of-shift reports.
  • Be conversant with all client standard operating procedures.
  • Perform regular security officer duties on various sites.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate your ability to multitask and work autonomously. You must be a self-motivated individual with good problem-solving abilities and supervisory experience.

  • A current QLD security license.
  • A current QLD driver's license.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of IR systems and processes.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good honest work ethics.
  • Staff rostering experience.
  • The ability to work well under pressure.
  • Capability of undertaking the physical patrol and guarding requirements for all sites (e.g., prolonged standing, foot patrol, and driving long distances).
