Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Demi Chef to join our team at The Westin and Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality breakfast dishes to the standards of our renowned hotel. If you have a passion for hospitality and a desire to succeed in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook breakfast dishes in assigned sections to the set standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas.
  • Ensure all food products are received in good condition and stored appropriately.
  • Practice safe work habits at all times.

About You:

  • You must hold a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery.
  • You have experience as a Demi Chef or in a similar role.
  • You have demonstrated experience in people management and working within a team.
  • You are able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of best practices in the Accommodation and Food & Beverage industry.
  • You possess excellent communication skills.
  • You are skilled in developing and maintaining strong relationships.
  • You have outstanding attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • You are able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
