Personal Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Worker to join our dynamic team, where you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

Your role as a Personal Care Worker plays a crucial part in ensuring we deliver exceptional care and support. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to support residents in living their life to the fullest, emphasizing choice and independence.

  • You will assist residents with personal care and hygiene needs while promoting their autonomy and dignity.
  • Contribute to residents' physical, emotional, and lifestyle needs through assessment and observation.
  • Implement clinical and care interventions as delegated by the Registered Nurse, following the resident's plan of care.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support or an equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to prioritize workloads and manage your time effectively.
  • Flexibility, empathy, and patience when working with elderly individuals.
  • The capacity to provide holistic care that respects residents' privacy, dignity, and self-esteem.
