Personal Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and caring professional to join our organization as a Personal Care Specialist.

Job Description:

This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others. As a Personal Care Specialist, you will provide personalized care to residents, taking into account their individual needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor resident health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns to registered nurses.
  • Deliver a holistic approach to care service provision, incorporating residents' personal beliefs, values, and culture.
  • Maintain residents' rights to dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care.
  • Minimum 3 months' work experience as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in residential aged care, home care, or disability services.
  • Flexibility and reliability to work required shifts.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
  • Strong passion for working with the elderly.
  • Valid police check.
  • Evidence of COVID vaccinations.
