Home Support Specialist

We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide exceptional care and support to our consumers in their homes. As a Home Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our consumers by delivering personal care, daily living support, and household services.

About the Role:

  • Clean and maintain a hygienic and comfortable living environment for consumers.
  • Assist with personal care, community access, meal preparation, medication reminders, and general support for daily living.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to consumers.
  • Monitor and report any changes in consumers' health or behaviour.
  • Work collaboratively with family members and Care Managers to deliver holistic, consumer-centred care.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Current Police Check.
  • Minimum of 3 COVID-19 vaccinations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a caring attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
