About the Role

This rewarding position offers person-centered support, community access, and personal care to a diverse cohort of residents. You will work collaboratively with a supportive team who provide individualised training to ensure you have the skills and knowledge needed to make a real difference.

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable individual with a focus on empowering participants to live their best lives. A flexible and adaptable approach, along with meticulous attention to detail, is essential for success in this role.

The shifts currently available include working in various homes across the Colac region, with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts, as well as active overnight shifts. You must be able to work days and night shifts on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered support to clients, promoting independence and confidence
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and medication management
  • Encourage social interaction and participation in community activities
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Collaborate with other support workers to achieve individualised goals

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence
  • Completed First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate - 'Quality, Safety & You'
  • Current Working with Children Check (VIC) for paid employment
  • Ability to work the hours outlined above
