Program Manager Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead our national programs and services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the LGBTIQ+ community, strategic development expertise, and high-level relationship management skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic planning and program development to ensure the helpline contributes effectively to integrated responses for LGBTIQ+ people.
  • Managing relationships with external partners to deliver high-quality programs.
  • Identifying opportunities for improving existing programs and ensuring synergy across teams.
  • Liaising with comparable providers to maintain the program's innovative and high-quality status.
Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, or Social Work (Mental Health).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a management role, including staff management, project management, data management, and risk management.
  • Contemporary knowledge of health and wellbeing issues affecting LGBTIQ+ communities.
  • Good knowledge of mental health research, best practice, and related sectors.
  • Awareness of health disparities impacting LGBTIQ+ communities.
  • Knowledge of current health disparities and issues affecting indigenous LGBTIQ+, BrotherBoy, and SisterGirl communities.
