Job Title: Programme Support Officer - Team Leadership Role

About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme Support Officer to fill a team leadership role within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing programme support and guidance to team members, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • To lead and manage staff responsible for providing business administration support, expertise and/or technical knowledge across a range of activities including systems, workload management, people performance, financial, staff lifecycle, knowledge and change management.
  • To provide accurate and specialised advice, ensuring knowledge of and compliance with relevant legislation and policy frameworks across multiple portfolios.
  • To assess and maintain quality processes and documentation relating to service delivery, ensuring alignment to legislation and policy, and utilising change and risk management principles to ensure impacts are communicated to relevant parties.
  • To coordinate and analyse data and written information for the purposes of drafting branch level communications and/or high level internal and external communications including reports, advice, presentations and communications for Ministerial, Parliamentary and executive responses.
  • To collect and audit workforce planning and capacity data, reporting on staff lifecycle and confirming against financial, systems and people performance data.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong engagement with multiple stakeholders.
  • Organisation and time management.
  • Experience in the disability, health or aged care sectors.
  • Experience managing a team.
