Job Description
  • Deliver high-quality, efficient, and timely assessment advice for State significant projects, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, government policies, and goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the merits of various State significant energy projects in line with best practice frameworks and benchmark assessment outcome turnaround times.
  • Produce high-quality work on a wide range of planning matters, including report writing and effective conditions of consent.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges and adapt to evolving situations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant environmental assessment and planning legislation and processes.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and project management.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, management, planning, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum Class C Driver's License and willingness to travel.
