You will be responsible for crafting exquisite desserts, entremets, and plated pastries that exceed visual appeal and texture expectations.
Develop and refine recipes in collaboration with the Head Pastry Chef, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques.
Apply advanced finishing techniques, including glazing, piping, chocolate work, and sugar decorations, to elevate the visual appeal of our products.
Assemble multi-component desserts with precision and uniformity, ensuring each pastry meets our premium quality standards.
Oversee a designated pastry section, delegating tasks to junior team members and ensuring efficient workflow.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper storage, labelling, and workstation cleanliness.
Manage inventory of pastry ingredients, minimizing waste and maintaining optimal stock levels.
Train and mentor junior pastry team members, fostering skill development and consistency.
Key qualifications include 1-2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef (CDP or equivalent) in a bakery, patisserie, or restaurant, Certificate III or above, expertise in doughs, French pastry techniques, and dessert assembly, and strong artistic ability.
