Job Title: Occupational Therapist
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in a community-focused aged care setting.
The successful candidate will be working in a dynamic environment, providing occupational therapy services to patients in their homes and community settings. They will develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of patients, collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, and conduct home assessments and provide recommendations for modifications to improve patient safety and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes and community settings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Conduct home assessments and provide recommendations for modifications to improve patient safety and independence
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 3 years' experience in aged care or similar setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
