
Recovery Specialist

This role provides support for the implementation and ongoing development of best practice Early Intervention Psychosocial Support in partnership with a mental health service.
As a Recovery Worker, you'll provide individualized support to clients based on their needs, focusing on achieving meaningful outcomes in health, social, and economic areas.
The position is part of a targeted service with referrals identified through adult mental health teams.
Key Responsibilities- Engage participants, families, and friends in the program where appropriate, developing professional relationships
- Conduct regular face-to-face visits to connect with individuals and monitor progress around key areas
- Encourage linkages into various activities to support goal achievement, including connections to other services
- Develop tailored recovery plans incorporating specific goals for skill and knowledge development, including physical health and housing outcomes
- Provide direct support to help participants attain skills required to meet identified goals, ensuring social inclusion through group activities as needed
Ongoing review of service delivery ensures alignment with individual needs.
Requirements- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in supporting people with mental health issues, typically a Certificate IV qualification or higher
- Current valid driver's license and ability to travel for the role
- Working with Children Check, NDIS Workers Screening Check, Right to Work in Australia, National Police Records Check, and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
