Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to play a critical role in the success of our Starship program. As a senior flight reliability engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical readiness and successful outcomes on flight and test days.

  • You will identify, document, and manage risk for the Starship and Super Heavy vehicles, collaborating with design teams, build teams, and operations teams.
  • Work closely with executive leadership to clearly communicate technical risks and drive actions to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage risk tracking for a Starship Vehicle or component throughout testing and flight.
  • Support technical reviews, including vehicle state machine reviews, joint operations reviews, and CONOPs reviews.
  • Organize and run flight readiness reviews, tracking action items and learnings from flight.
  • Drive on-console resolution of technical risks to achieve successful test or flight outcome.
  • Support anomaly investigations using tools like fault trees, fishbones, and 5 whys.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience with engineering problem-solving in design, analysis, or test of systems.
