Flight Reliability Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Flight Reliability Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our Starship program by identifying, documenting, and managing risk for the vehicle.

This specialist will work closely with design teams, build teams, and operations teams to ensure the best outcome possible on flight and test days.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Taking ownership of risk tracking for a Starship Vehicle or component
  • Supporting technical reviews and organizing flight readiness reviews
  • Clearly communicating technical risks to executive leadership
  • Providing real-time support for test and flight operations
  • Solving anomalies and driving process improvements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace engineering

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in aerospace engineering
  • SQL and/or Python experience
  • High proficiency with computer applications
  • Experience with anomaly resolution and documentation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
