About the Opportunity:

The successful candidate will provide support for inclusion and/or prevention activity within a team, ensuring effective delivery of education, prevention, awareness, and engagement initiatives. The role involves carrying out a broad range of project functions and responsibilities, including preparation of reports, meetings, communications, assisting with planning and tracking of prevention program initiatives and project activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and provide the necessary documentation to support the management and coordination of gender-based violence primary prevention programs, including development of reports, presentations, and communications.
  • Provide high-level administrative and business support as required.
  • Regularly review legislation, standards, and policy to ensure compliance with relevant authorities, legislative frameworks, and best practice.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on induction and compliance training for all staff and students.
  • Plan and prioritise work, recognising barriers to achieving outcomes and finding effective ways to deal with them and evaluate progress.
  • Develop and implement practical, accessible solutions based on the Inclusion team or stakeholder needs.
  • Communicate effectively using examples to increase understanding and support.

Requirements:

  • A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or
  • Extensive, relevant experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Experience of working in a complex organisation with multiple policies, procedures, and operating practices with the ability to interpret these policies and procedures.
