Infrastructure Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced infrastructure specialist to join our team in maintaining and monitoring our business systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing technologies, managing service and project requests, responding to and rectifying incidents, and working with various software applications including Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, MS Teams, VMware suite, and Microsoft System Centre suite.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement technologies, manage service and project requests
  • Respond to and rectify Severity 2 and 3 Incidents

You will be working with multiple software applications, including Windows Server, Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, MS Teams, VMware suite, and Microsoft System Centre suite. We require someone with high levels of communication and interpersonal skills, who can work proactively and independently. You may be required to perform activities outside of normal working hours and participate in the on-call roster.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Designing, implementing, and administering infrastructure platform solutions using VMware vSphere
  • Designing, implementing, and administering storage solutions using SAN technologies
  • Working with challenging networking solutions on physical and/or virtualised platforms
  • Incident, Problem, and Change Management disciplines, policies, and standards, especially in relation to ITIL v4
