About This Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and scaling a data engineering function, ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of a real-time data platform. This role combines strategic leadership, platform architecture, and hands-on engineering to deliver a modern data foundation that supports high-impact business needs across analytics, machine learning, and operations.


This includes leading the design and delivery of a scalable data platform that meets analytical, operational, and machine learning needs, evaluating and implementing a fit-for-purpose technology stack, establishing reliable ingestion and transformation frameworks, and driving continuous improvement in platform reliability and data pipeline performance.


A strong understanding of cloud environments, data engineering languages, and frameworks is essential, as well as proficiency in modern data tooling ecosystems, including data lakes, lakehouses, transformation frameworks, and orchestration systems.


Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of a scalable data platform

Requirements
  • Strong experience designing and scaling modern data platforms in cloud environments

  • Understanding of batch and streaming architectures
  • Fluency in modern data tooling ecosystems
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance fundamentals
