About the Opportunity

BD-S is seeking a motivated
Junior Forms Developer
for an exciting 6-month contract opportunity with a public sector client.

Join a dynamic digital solutions team and play a key role in delivering essential digital forms within a large, complex government environment.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to build your skills in a collaborative, project-focused setting where you will be challenged to solve problems and contribute to meaningful projects.

What You'll Do

Working alongside technical architects, service designers, and the wider project team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and supporting the delivery of digital forms and business applications.
  • Undertaking system testing, programming, and providing technical support.
  • Performing database administration tasks.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and apply innovative solutions and improve work practices.

Skills and Experience We're Looking For

  • Proficiency in a programming language such as C#, .NET, or Java.
  • Solid web development skills using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with modern version control systems like Git, Bitbucket, or Subversion.
  • A foundational understanding of system architecture and basic security concepts.

  • You are highly organised and can effectively manage multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines.

Desirable

  • Previous experience working within Australian government environments is highly desirable.

Important Requirements

  • Security Clearance:
    The successful candidate must hold a current National Police Check (no more than 12 months old) and be eligible to obtain further security clearances upon commencement.
  • Contract:
    This is a full-time contract for a period of 6 months, based on an 8-hour workday.
