Strategic Asset Management Opportunity

We are embarking on a transformation journey to drive our Infrastructure and Facilities team forward.

The role of Strategic Asset Manager is an exciting opportunity to lead Assets and Sustainability programs, leveraging your expertise to make a significant contribution to our dynamic new future.

This multi-faceted position will challenge you to develop and implement innovative asset management strategies, embed these strategies into our ways of working, and drive the implementation and ongoing operation of the Enterprise Asset Management System across our organization.

About You:

  • You must have experience and knowledge in strategic Asset Management, with a proven track record of implementing Asset Information Management Systems.
  • A Certified Asset Manager via Asset Management Council or IPWEA is highly desirable, including experience working to the requirements of ISO 55001 Asset Management Systems or equivalent.
  • Tertiary qualified in Asset Management, Engineering, or an associated discipline, with considerable experience in a similar role, including experience uplifting organisational capability and building strategic initiatives.
  • You must have experience in end-to-end project management, including scoping, implementation, and transition.
  • You're comfortable working with complexity, anticipating and resolving both strategic and operational issues.
  • You must have excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all mediums.
  • You must have, or be willing to obtain, Victorian Working with Children Check and National Police Check clearance.
