We are seeking an experienced and reliable Business Development Manager to join our team.
- The Business Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing sales policies, objectives, and initiatives. This role involves setting short and long-term sales strategies and evaluating effectiveness of current sales programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas, projected sales volume and profit.
- Developing and driving business by pro-actively sourcing and actioning sales leads.
- Identifying, building and developing new client businesses within target markets.
- Tracking sales goals and reporting results to the management team.
- Building commercial and professional networks to support strategic growth opportunities.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to develop and lead tailored solution efforts that best address customer requirements.
- Meeting and exceeding predetermined KPIs and sales targets.
- Ability to identify and harness new business ideas and opportunities and turn these into sales.
- Providing accurate and timely forecasts of future market trends.
Requirements:
- 3+ years previous experience in a similar role, preferably with sales management.
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in achieving sales targets and KPI's.
- Experience in customer relationship management.
- Experience in managing and directing a sales team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- High-level proficiency with MS Office programs.
- Ability to work autonomously.
