Family Violence Response Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to support the Court's response to family violence, by conducting assessments, facilitating referrals, and providing expert information to Magistrates.

The selected individual will build strong relationships with community agencies to support behaviour change and reduce the risk of further violence.

About the Role:

  • Conduct court-ordered assessments and refer individuals to appropriate support services and programs.
  • Provide expert information to Magistrates regarding individual needs and service availability.
  • Communicate specialist family violence concepts and court procedures to individuals and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records, ensuring compliance with privacy and consent protocols.
  • Represent the Court at stakeholder meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Update case management systems and prepare reports on service delivery and stakeholder engagement.
  • Deliver education and training to internal and external services as required.
