Familys Violence Response Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Familys Violence Response Specialist to join our team.
Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for delivering assessments, crisis response, and specialist familys violence case management services to victim survivors in the long-term refuge.
The specialist will work intensively with individuals and families to provide support and guidance to move through the crisis and refuge program to safe accommodation.
The primary location for this role will be Coburg North, and the practitioner will be expected to visit clients in the refuge premises on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, safe, and effective familys violence and child well-being responses to those seeking support, safety, and recovery.
- Work with individuals and families to develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, families, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support.
- Conduct thorough assessments, risk evaluations, and develop safety plans to address familys violence.
- Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent formal learning.
- Experience working in the familys violence sector is desirable.
- Demonstrated case management experience and skills.
- Highly developed time management and work prioritization skills with an ability to work autonomously.
- Advance computer skills including experience in data and record management.
- A current VIC Drivers Licence.
- Valid VIC Employee Working with Children Check.
- Ability to provide proof of Eligibility to Work in Australia.
