Job Summary

We are offering a competitive salary of $120,000 per annum for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management:
    • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure seamless daily operations.
    • Oversee waitstaff and kitchen personnel to maintain high standards.
    • Schedule employees and manage payroll to optimize efficiency.
    • Appraise staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Customer Service:
    • Provide excellent customer service by accepting reservations, welcoming guests, and facilitating order placement.
    • Build rapport with customers to understand their dining experience.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication.
    • Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally.
  • Operations Management:
    • Oversee daily shift operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house duties.
    • Maintain safety and food quality standards to prevent any incidents.
    • Manage inventory and ordering supplies to minimize waste.
    • Collaborate with chefs to design menus that meet customer expectations.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Coordinate special functions and events to enhance the guest experience.
  • Financial Management:
    • Control operational costs and identify opportunities to reduce expenses.
    • Prepare reports on revenues and expenses to inform business decisions.
  • Compliance:
    • Manage commodity acquisition and pricing within budget constraints.
    • Monitor stock levels and financial transactions to prevent discrepancies.
    • Ensure dining facilities comply with health laws and maintain a clean environment.
    Requirements
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
    • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
    • Proficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems.
    • In-depth knowledge of the restaurant sector, including food safety, liquor licensing, and other applicable regulations.
    • A thorough understanding of Cantonese cuisine is essential.
