We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and organized part-time HR Generalist to join our tight-knit People & Culture Team.

About the Role

The HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in building capability and providing essential tools and processes for the business to deliver its strategic outcomes.

The People & Culture Team's Strategic Objective is to ensure that we have the right people with the right skills to execute our business strategy and achieve sustainable business performance.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Prepare documentation to facilitate employee life cycle changes.
  2. Assist managers in the recruitment process, including posting advertisements, reviewing resumes and facilitating reference checks.
  3. Maintain recruitment documents such as interview guides, job descriptions, recruitment forms, contracts and letters.
  4. Prepare employment contracts and maintain templates.
  5. Facilitate onboarding process for new employees, including liaison with Payroll, Operations and Safety and Compliance.
  6. Manage HR systems through data entry, maintenance and reporting including Recruitment, Learning, Performance and Remuneration systems.
  7. Support implementation of new systems and updates.
  8. Responsible for the invoicing process for People & Culture expenses.
  9. Provide general administrative support to the People & Culture team, including extracting and interpreting reports from HR/payroll systems and administration of HR systems and learning records.
  10. Contribute to the development and improvement of key People & Culture processes.
  11. Comply with health and safety regulations, ensuring reasonable care for the well-being of all employees, visitors and contractors.
  12. Support delivery of employee training as required, including Code of Conduct, Performance Plan and Performance Counselling processes and induction.
  13. Review and maintain HR policies and procedures within scope of role.
  14. Support managers through performance counselling and disciplinary processes, including advising on appropriate action, documentation and conducting meetings.
  15. Maintain database of performance counselling/disciplinary case management.
