At our educational institution, we strive to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students. Our dedicated teaching staff work diligently to support every student in reaching their full potential and developing critical personal attributes such as motivation, confidence, self-belief, and resilience.
We operate under a vertical house structure where students (Year 7-12) and staff are allocated into one of the four houses. This structure fosters strong relationships between students and staff, allowing for optimal learning and engagement. We prioritize involvement of parents in the learning journey and maintaining open lines of communication to provide the best support for our young people.
Our facilities include state-of-the-art resources across specialist areas including Science, IT, Art, Design and Technology. Additionally, we have a thriving Performing Arts program supported by an auditorium with an augmented sound system ensuring our Deaf and Hard of Hearing students are well-supported. Our sporting precinct provides exceptional facilities for our high-level sporting program.
We provide individualized support for Deaf and hearing-impaired students in mainstream classes across all year levels. Staff in our Deaf Education Centre work closely with classroom teachers to provide an inclusive program for students. We value this highly as our vision of success involves our young people being actively involved in understanding and shaping their communities.
The Student Agency and Leadership Team (SALT), our student leadership program, develops the leadership skills and builds the capacity of our young people to have a voice in their community.
