About the Role:

The Event & Sales Coordinator will be the primary contact for our customers throughout the entire event process, from initial inquiries to the completion of the event. This role is predominantly administrative, but the ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach and be able to assist operationally with events if required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Management: Demonstrate excellent knowledge of functions packs across venues, providing clients with accurate information and quotes, and up-selling functions packages.
  • Customer Service: Manage customer inquiries and complaints via call and email, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence and building rapport with new and existing clients.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage records of sales and invoices accurately with a high attention to detail, liaising with operational departments to ensure clients' needs are delivered.
  • General Administration: Perform general administrative tasks to support daily operations of the Catering Team.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Experience in Functions/Events in the hospitality industry.
  • Sales and Marketing: Proven track record of driving sales and generating new business.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent customer service skills and a strong client-focused approach, with excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Availability: Willing to occasionally work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, to attend events.
