We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Port Pirie, providing high-quality care to clients with various physical and intellectual disabilities. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver occupational therapy services, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct home and community visits to assess client needs and develop personalized plans.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure effective care coordination.
  • Develop and implement client-centered plans, incorporating evidence-based practice frameworks.
  • Provide coaching and advice to team members and carers to support client goals.
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups and workshops to promote client engagement and empowerment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience in applying evidence-based practice frameworks to assess, plan, and deliver clinical supports.
  • Effective time management skills to ensure you meet client goals and performance expectations.
  • A current driver's license (pool cars provided).
