The Commercial Manager will have knowledge in:

  • Working as part of a team, integrating with project teams, commercial managers, contract administrators, technical advisors, clients, contractors, and sub-contractors.
  • Monitoring, analyzing, reporting, and providing advice on commercial matters.
  • Providing insight and advice on commercial and contract arrangements, financial forecasting, payments, contract management & controls, change management cashflow analysis, and claims management.
  • Strong understanding and experience with the Alliance contract model.
  • Interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
  • Driving strategic, operational, and technical diagnosis of client needs.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in construction, cost management, engineering, or project management. Experience in providing procurement and contract administration advice, as well as managing and reporting directly into the client and key stakeholders, is essential.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Professionally qualified in construction, cost management, engineering, or project management.
  • Commercial Management experience in the construction environment (rail, water, power, and utilities preferred).
  • A strong understanding and experience with the Alliance contract model.
  • Experience in working within a Client-focused consultancy environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written English, and excellent report writing skills.
