Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietitian to join our Rural Allied Health Team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide person-centred care, working with clients, carers and families to promote good nutrition and independence at home. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing goals and care plans to assist clients to remain at home and active in their local community
  • Advising on dietary needs and supporting skill development in areas such as food budgeting, shopping, food choices and meal preparation
  • Working with a diverse range of clients and health conditions, including chronic diseases and neurological conditions
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent
  • Membership of Dietetics Australia and participation in the Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) program
  • Broad knowledge and experience in the delivery of Dietetic services within home, group and community settings to clients with complex presentations
  • Self-motivation, strong communication, organisational and time management skills
