**About the Role:** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Food Services Assistant to join our team at Numurkah. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking and presentation of high-quality meals and snacks, adhering to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist in the preparation of menus and meal plans that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences
  • Prepare and cook food using various cooking techniques, including grilling, roasting and steaming
  • Present food attractively and ensure it is served hot and fresh
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations

**Requirements:**

  • Relevant experience in a food service or hospitality environment
  • Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
