Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Accommodation Operations Team Member. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and has previous experience in front desk reception, customer service, food & beverage, and commercial cleaning in an accommodation setting.

About the Role
  • Front Desk: Provide excellent customer service to guests, answer queries, and provide local knowledge and recommendations. Check-in and check-out guests, resolve concerns, and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Housekeeping: Refresh communal spaces, bathrooms, and accommodation rooms, kitchens, and ensure the property remains clean and well-maintained.
  • Food & Beverage: Assist with the smooth operation of F&B services, interacting with guests, and providing assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in front desk reception, customer service, food & beverage, and commercial cleaning in an accommodation setting.
  • Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • A valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Certification.
  • Flexible availability 24/7 roster, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Full Australian working rights with no restrictions.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 AUD, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer access to benefits and discounts across the YHA national network of properties, professional development opportunities, and a diverse and inclusive workplace environment.
